this has gone too far…enhanced pat downs are ridiculous, they are now patting down people outside the airports in the bigger cities. There is a major trend to this homeland security program. Think! how many planes have we seen blown up by terrorists? We’ve seen thousands of these close encounters, very fishy! Security seems to fail at airports, but they somehow suddenly catch someone before disaster breaks out? Now when they find the tiny IE in someones cavity, expect to bend over and cough

One question, if the government didn’t ensure any security people would complain and now that they are doing what they can to make people feel safer, it’s bad. Make up your mind. I mean if someone wanted to blow up a plane, it wouldn’t stop a rocket launcher but still.

@smartlamppost I have never tried to push my beliefs on others. I don’t believe I said I had to fly or have the right to and if you are willing to give up your rights to fly then go for it. I still have the right to free speech. Let’s not pretend that because I disagree I want 9/11 to happen again. Flimsy argument. I was there helping after it happen. I care. FYI I got through security without compromising, so I guess you were right Jesus did get me through. Happy Thanksgiving.

No one has the “right” to fly in an airplane. It is a luxery. If you don’t like the security, then drive your ass there or get on a train. Where do people get off thinking they have all of these rights to things? People are so spoiled to realize that they do not have the right to do a lot of things. You do not own the airport or airline so you don’t make the rules. If you had a no smoking rule in your house and I came in and smoked and then said I have the right to smoke, who would be right?
