@mike1976ful
That’s Airfrance Flight AF1980 from Paris CDG to London Heathrow LHR
Flight AF1981 going from LHR back to Paris CDG
September 7th, 2010 at 10:47 pm
@Anjoucat lol. i was wondering why air france would fly that to london.
September 7th, 2010 at 10:56 pm
@MeanGene79 actually, Air France are operating CDG-LHR-CDG this summer with the A380 to train the crew that are flying it. It would be even more of a waste not to offer passengers the chance to fly it.
September 7th, 2010 at 11:17 pm
@mike1976ful It is MSN 40. No matter how you write it MSN/LN: 40, MSN040 it is still MSN 40 or the 40th A380 to enter production.
September 7th, 2010 at 11:43 pm
this not MSN/LN: 40 this is Airbus A380-861 | F-HPJB | MSN040
This Airfrance from Paris to london flight AF1981 10:05 – 10:25

September 8th, 2010 at 12:14 am
@sjcgzn08 I read in an aviation weekly magazine that they are doing it for crew training on short legs as it gets into its work…..but if you know anything about England and France, you maybe would understand the real reason is they want to show it off at British Airways’ home base – Heathrow!! France has the new plane, BA hasn’t
September 8th, 2010 at 1:10 am
@MeanGene79 London-Paris was once the world’s largest air route by passengers flown.
BUT, at the same time, the user above us said this was a crew training flight…
September 8th, 2010 at 1:54 am
Flying in this on the 17th, cannot wait!
September 8th, 2010 at 2:08 am
This must be an extremely high traffic route, because it seems a waste to me to fly such a short route with this beast!
September 8th, 2010 at 2:20 am
