    @MeanGene79 actually, Air France are operating CDG-LHR-CDG this summer with the A380 to train the crew that are flying it. It would be even more of a waste not to offer passengers the chance to fly it.

    @mike1976ful It is MSN 40. No matter how you write it MSN/LN: 40, MSN040 it is still MSN 40 or the 40th A380 to enter production.

    @sjcgzn08 I read in an aviation weekly magazine that they are doing it for crew training on short legs as it gets into its work…..but if you know anything about England and France, you maybe would understand the real reason is they want to show it off at British Airways’ home base – Heathrow!! France has the new plane, BA hasn’t :-)

    BUT, at the same time, the user above us said this was a crew training flight…
